This workshop is designed for both the beginner and intermediate-level dancer, ages 6–8 and 9–12. Our Young Dancer Workshop is an introduction to more serious dance training.
– For students ages 6–8, NO previous training is required
– For students ages 9–12, previous dance training is required
Students will receive a daily ballet class along with additional classes in jazz, modern, contemporary, and/or stretching and dance conditioning.
The last day of our Young Dancer Workshop will conclude with a short dance presentation.

AGES 6 – 8
9:30–10:30 – Ballet
10:30–11:15 – Break/Dance Activity
11:15–12:15 – Jazz, Hip-hop, Modern, Contemporary, or Dance Conditioning
AGES 9 – 12
9:30–10:45 – Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, or Dance Conditioning
10:45–11:00 – Snack Break
11:00–12:15 – Ballet

WHAT TO WEAR?
Girls should wear a leotard (any color) and pink tights, pink ballet slippers and Jazz oxfords for Jazz (if you have them) bare feet for modern/contemporary. Girls should have their hair secured back in a bun or similar style.
Boys should wear dark-colored sweats (or shorts), a white T-shirt and ballet shoes or Jazz oxfords.
WHAT TO BRING?
We recommend a light snack and drink (water is best) for break times.
WHEN TO ARRIVE?
Our studios will be open shortly after 9 AM. The first class begins at 9:30 AM.
Children should be picked up at 12:30 PM.
The program is subject to change or cancellation due to insufficient enrollment. All tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable. Schedule is subject to change.
